Since its dawn in 1992 SLSMA emerged as the professional organization for Sports Medicine in Sri Lanka with both local and international integrity and accreditation.
The Association is a non-profit, non-commercial and non-political base scientific organization of Sports Medicine in Sri Lanka, following the statute of the International Federation of Sports Medicine and the principles of the International Olympic Committee.
SLSMA hopes to fulfill its aims and objectives in collaboration with local and international professional bodies.
